Come discover the joy of the Carmelite nuns of Surieu!
Come and spend a weekend away to live, with others, a spiritual and monastic experience and discover a place, a community of Carmelite nuns who will share with you what gives them life and what brings them joy.
2 or 3 days during the week or on weekends, alone or in a small group, away to:
- Take time to listen to the gentle breeze.
- Rest yourself.
- Take a step back.
- Reflect on your life choices, your vocation.
Through silence and dialogue in personal spiritual guidance, through times of prayer and manual work, listen to the inner source flowing within you! In the spirit of Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Thérèse of Lisieux, Edith Stein and many others, come and breathe the fresh air of Carmel!
Daily program:
There is no set program as such, since each stay adapts to your desires! You can:
- discover spirituality by watching a film
- share with the sisters around a biblical text, a Carmelite saint
- ask your questions about prayer.
Personal spiritual guidance is offered to you. The different times of prayer with the community will support your stay.
Depending on what you wish, you can participate in a manual activity or an outdoor activity!
If you wish, you can bring shoes and clothes for outdoor work.
