The retreat, like all retreats at Foyers de Charité, is first and foremost a personal journey where each person is welcomed wherever they are, with respect for their beliefs and their story.
Through times of teaching, prayer, and relaxation as well, a new peace rises in people's hearts.
Each retreat is enriched by the fraternal, discreet, and prayerful presence of community members at your side.
Silence during the retreat is very precious for better self-knowledge and being attentive to the active presence of the Lord.

Each day there will be 2 or 3 teachings given by Bishop Christophe Dufour.
We will also offer you times of prayer with the community: Lauds, Mass, evening prayer (Compline, Holy Hour, prayer of the brothers).
The chapel is always open for more personal time: mental prayer...
During your free time: walks through the vineyards, the woods.
The retreat will begin on Monday, May 4: welcome from 5:00 PM, Mass at 6:45 PM. It will end on Sunday, May 10 around 2:00 PM.
Bishop Dufour has been Archbishop Emeritus of Aix since 2022.
Please bring:
- your sheets (90 cm beds)
- your toiletries
- something to take notes with
- a Bible
- possibly waterproof walking shoes (extensive woods)
Information about the cost of the stay will be provided during the retreat. Each person gives according to their heart, according to their actual means.
