A few days to refocus on what matters most
This spiritual retreat will seek to offer responses to the great human and spiritual questions, as well as to the challenges of the contemporary world, through lively teachings rooted in the Word of God and in lived experience. The teachings will be given by the founder of the Foyer Marie Jean.
During this time of human and spiritual renewal, you will also be carried by an atmosphere of prayer and silence, and a carefully prepared and fully celebrated liturgy for the Solemnity of Pentecost.
The presence of a beautiful park and the proximity of the forest, the discreet yet attentive care of the brothers and sisters who will share in this spiritual retreat alongside you, as these teachings are meant for them as well, and the recollection of each person, will open you to the mystery of the God of Mercy and Life.

- One teaching on Saturday afternoon, two on Sunday, and one on Monday.
- Celebration of the Pentecost Vigil on Saturday evening, and Mass and second Vespers on Sunday.
- Opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and/or spiritual guidance.
- Time for rest, meditation, and silent prayer.
- Meals shared together with beautiful music in the background. Monday's midday meal is a time for sharing.
Important information:
- Arrival on Saturday, May 23 between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM (we can pick you up at the bus stop by the église des Essarts). The spiritual retreat ends after the midday meal on Monday (around 2:00 PM).
- Accommodation in single rooms (except for couples).
- Please bring something to take notes with.
- You will find a New Testament in your room for your use.
- Bed linens are provided in the rooms, but please bring your own towels.
- We invite you to bring a white garment (shirt, sweater, scarf...) to celebrate Pentecost, from Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
Financial contribution:
The contribution to expenses is free-will, but we offer an indicative range for the offering: €150 to €190 per person for a two-day spiritual retreat.
