The tradition of prayer in the Bible
The Psalms form one of the best-known and most prayed books of the Bible.
At once poetry, a cry of the heart, meditation and song, they express the full range of human emotions in a direct and sometimes deeply moving relationship with God.
This 6-day retreat is a privileged time to listen to God, in silence, with 2 to 3 teachings per day led by Mgr de Bucy, Bishop of Agen.
From Sunday, July 26 at 7:00 PM to Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 AM.

A 6-day stay for rest, prayer, and formation in an atmosphere of shared recollection.

The opportunity to meet with a priest (for confession or a conversation) or a layperson trained in listening and spiritual guidance.
Opportunities for walks in and around the grounds, set amid gently rolling, wooded hills.
Meals served with music, generous and varied. Special diets available on request.
Important information
- Full board.
- Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set for €5), towels, a cloth napkin and napkin ring if possible, any medication you need, outdoor shoes for enjoying the countryside, your Bible (available to borrow on site), and something to write with.
- Accommodation in single rooms; a few double rooms available. Pillowcases and blankets provided on site.
- The Foyer de charité is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We can pick you up from Agen train station if you are traveling by train.
- By registering, you commit to respecting each person's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.
Suggested offering
The amount is left to your discretion, in good conscience, according to your means.
For reference, a full-board day costs us €55.
