Before engagement, you still have questions about choosing your future spouse.
You have already begun your journey together and want to take time to discern: continue together toward marriage, take a break, or give each other back your freedom.
This weekend is open to believers and non-believers who are in a relationship and wish to gain clarity on their path toward a possible church wedding.
Program
Laure Templier will review the stages of any important decision and the criteria for spiritual discernment needed at this stage in your life to decide whether to continue your journey toward the sacrament of marriage.
She will reaffirm what lies at the heart of married love and discuss the obstacles that couples desiring to marry may encounter. She will offer some reflection points to help you go deeper.
- 5 one-hour teachings over the weekend,
- personal time or time as a couple,
- prayer time with the community,
- meals with discussion on various themes.
Each couple will meet with an accompanying couple once during the weekend.
Arrival Friday, January 31, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Departure Sunday, February 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM
To bring:
- sheets or sleeping bag and pillowcase, bath towels
- notebook
- sneakers or boots to enjoy the surrounding nature
Contribution to expenses
The Foyers de charité are open to all who wish to come for a spiritual retreat, regardless of their financial means. The smooth operation of each Foyer relies primarily on the financial contributions of retreatants and the work of Community members.
During the retreat, you will be invited to freely contribute to the costs of your stay.
