Discover Carmelite life in the Landes!
Two days to discover the life of the Carmelite nuns, that's the program of this themed retreat!
It's a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- take stock of your life,
- listen to God,
- be accompanied, if the retreatant desires, to help with discernment.
The retreat theme will accompany you throughout with times for reflection.
This retreat is for women aged 18 to 35 only.
Program
Upon arrival, a meeting is scheduled with the Prioress to plan the stay according to each person's expectations. All arrivals and departures are arranged according to the retreatants' availability, and a Sister can pick you up at the Mont de Marsan train station if needed.
The retreat program includes:
- one or more divine offices
- Masses
- spiritual readings (lectio divina, rosary, mental prayer)
- meetings with the Sisters
- small tasks if you need activities.
Lunches and dinners on-site; bed linens provided.
Remember to bring a Bible and something to write with.
If needed, a Sister can pick you up at the Mont de Marsan train station.
Suggested offering at the end of the retreat
35 euros per day.
