Discovering Carmelite life in the Landes!
Two days to discover the life of the Carmelites, that's the program of this themed retreat!
It's a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- take stock of one's life,
- listen to God,
- be accompanied, if the retreatant desires, for discernment.
The retreat theme will accompany you throughout the retreat with times of reflection.
This retreat is for women aged 18 to 35 only.
On the schedule
Upon arrival, a meeting is scheduled with the prioress to customize the stay according to each person's expectations. All arrivals and departures are organized according to the retreatants' possibilities, knowing that a sister can pick you up if needed at the Mont de Marsan train station.
The retreat program includes:
- one or more divine offices
- Masses
- spiritual readings (lectio divina, rosary, mental prayer)
- a meeting with the sisters and small tasks if you need activities.
Lunches and dinners on-site; bed linens provided.
Remember to bring a Bible and writing materials.
If needed, a sister can pick you up at the Mont de Marsan train station.
Suggested offering at the end of the retreat
35 euros per day.
