A few days at the Lacépède foyer
The retreat begins on Monday, November 30 at 7:00 PM. Please plan to arrive around 4:30 PM. The retreat ends on Sunday, December 6 at 10:00 AM, after the sending-forth Mass.
A bodily practice is offered alongside the retreat. It aims to qualify earthly nourishment and to limit a good portion of what might be called superfluous foods, keeping to what is necessary in the spirit of the "fast according to Saint Hildegard".

- The retreat will be shaped by teachings rooted in the Gospel and simple liturgies.
- Bringing your own Bible is recommended.
- We also remind participants that silence is essential in order to hear God's calls and to respect the journey of others.
- During free time, a good walk is highly recommended.
Important information
- Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set on-site for €5), towels, a table napkin and its holder if possible, any medications you need, outdoor shoes for enjoying the countryside, your Bible (lending copies available on-site), and something to write with.
- Accommodation is in single rooms with full board; a few double rooms are also available. Pillowcases and blankets are provided on-site.
- The Foyer de charité is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We can pick you up at Agen train station if you are traveling by train.
- By registering, you commit to respecting each person's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.

The cost is left to your discretion, in good conscience, according to your means.
