A few days at the Lacépède foyer
The retreat begins on Monday, November 30 at 7:00 PM. Please plan your arrival around 4:30 PM. The retreat ends on Sunday, December 6 at 10:00 AM, after the sending-forth Mass.
A bodily practice is offered alongside the retreat. It aims to bring a new quality to earthly nourishment by limiting many of the foods one might call superfluous, keeping to what is truly necessary in the manner of the "fast according to Saint Hildegard."

- The retreat will be shaped by teachings rooted in the Gospel and simple liturgies.
- It is recommended to bring your own Bible.
- We also remind participants that silence is essential, enabling us to hear God's calls and to respect each person's journey.
- During free time, a good walk is highly recommended.
Important information
- Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set for €5), towels, a table napkin and its holder if possible, your medications, outdoor shoes for enjoying the countryside, your Bible (lending available on site), and something to write with.
- Accommodation in single rooms; a few double rooms available. Pillowcases and blankets provided on site.
- The Foyer de charité is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We can pick you up at Agen train station if you are traveling by train.
- By registering, you commit to respecting each person's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.
