Writing icons: a path to oneself, a path to God
In the monastic setting, combine the art of icon painting with fraternal and liturgical life in contact with the community.

Elena Passet was born in Russia in Acha, a "country town" at the foot of the Ural Mountains, between Europe and Asia. From an early age, she was passionate about drawing and painting. After studies that enabled her to teach drawing at the Lycée in Acha, she entered the pedagogical arts university of Ufa, from which she graduated (with honors) in artistic drawing, technical drawing, and visual arts.
