Allowing ourselves to be touched by words, from the Bible and beyond
A Writing and Contemplation workshop to the rhythm of this long Pentecost weekend, letting the Spirit blow where it wills, and sometimes through words that "know things about us that we don't know about them" (René Char).
We will follow the paths of prose, texts from the Bible, and poetry "where each word reaches the fullness of its vital force" according to André Louf (Cistercian monk and later hermit).
Annick Combier has been leading writing workshops for over 20 years, within the EcriSud association. As a seeker of meaning and writing paths to explore both individually and together within the ephemeral and fraternal small group that constitutes the workshop, she holds a University Diploma in training and facilitation of writing workshops from the University of Aix-en-Provence and a Master's degree in Intercultural and Interreligious Mediation from the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence.

Over three days we will explore writing paths in the light of this Spirit, step by step, word by word, to draw words of life from their source, those that speak of day and night, shadow and light, the visible and the unspeakable…
Contemplation is as if inscribed in writing itself, at its very root, and we will go "into the desert," where the threefold dimension unfolds between Word, Listening and Silence, which we will savor within the small group formed for the duration of the workshop.
Meditation times are offered at the beginning and end of each day, as well as moments of meditative walking under the pines and oaks in the Provençal light at the foot of Mont Ventoux.
