Saint-Joseph Monastery

30 minutes from Paris via Gare de l'Est station, Saint-Joseph Monastery is home to a Benedictine community with a unique mission: welcoming sisters with physical disabilities. Despite this "cross planted on their paths," the sisters continue to follow the Rule of Saint Benedict and share their lives between contemplation and work. Their work takes the form of hospitality, welcoming religious, women, couples, and small groups seeking a time of spiritual renewal.
