Abbazia di Viboldone

San Giuliano Milanese (MI)Italy

Benedictines Nuns
Lodging13 rooms

The Abbazia di Viboldone stands in San Giuliano Milanese, in Lombardy, in a small village nestled in the heart of the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano. Founded in 1176 by the Humiliati, it has been home since 1941 to a community of Benedictine nuns who live there according to the Rule of Saint Benedict, in a rhythm of prayer, lectio divina, work, and hospitality.

The sisters welcome brothers and sisters in faith, pilgrims, and seekers, individually or in groups, to listen, pray, and share a little of their life. A stay marked by the Word of God, the liturgy, and simple hospitality, just a short distance from the great city yet far from its bustle.
