48 hours with Scripture

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Ps 118:105).

How true this verse of the psalm rings, and how much we need to (re)place ourselves at the school of Scripture! A few days before Christmas and at the close of our year, we will take time to listen to the Lord.
We will let him lean over us and teach us.

A balanced and peaceful rhythm in the heart of Provence:

• Two teachings are given each day by Father Jean-Louis Guérin-Boutaud, a priest of Notre-Dame de Vie.

• Mass gathers us at the heart of the day, along with Lauds in the morning and Vespers in the evening.

• Priests are available for the sacrament of reconciliation, and couples and consecrated persons are on hand to welcome and listen.

• The program allows time to pray, to read and meditate, to rest, and to walk in a peaceful setting.

• The retreat is held in silence, except during the first and last meals.

Practical details

• The retreat begins on Friday the 11th from 6:00 PM and ends on Sunday the 13th at 2:30 PM.

• The accommodation offers varying levels of comfort (with or without shower, with or without restroom).

• Please bring your Bible and something to take notes with.

• The surroundings are beautiful; if you would like to walk, bring appropriate footwear.

• A library is available to retreatants.
