Christmas at the Monastery - spiritual retreat for men (18-35 years old)

You will be welcomed into the Brotherhood of the Brothers during your stay.

You will be invited to settle in, prioritizing a time of disconnection from your daily routine.

We will invite you to:

• share the rhythm of the monastic community members (liturgy, meals, fraternal time).

• immerse yourself in the meditation of the Scriptures.

• clear your mind by taking part in various simple manual tasks (cooking, gardening, maintenance, ...) and, weather permitting, set aside dedicated time to go walking or engage in a sports activity.

You will also have time for yourself: to get some fresh air, to read, ...

The monastic offices and meals will structure the day.

The rest of the program will be tailored and adapted to your needs, according to the goal of your stay.

Depending on needs, it is possible to offer:

• a spiritual journey to grow in your relationship with Christ and renew the grace of your baptism.

• selected readings to deepen your faith.

• an introduction to the prayerful reading of the Bible (lectio divina) and to monastic liturgy.

• spiritual guidance.

• Bring your Bible.

• Meals are taken in the community refectory.

• Depending on the weather, plan to dress warmly and possibly bring clothing you don't mind getting dirty for work periods.

• Sheets and towels are provided.

• Practical details will be communicated upon registration.

Overall free-will contribution to expenses of around €55 per day per person, full board.
