Christmas Retreat
Celebrating Christmas at the priory, near the apparition site of Our Lady of the Poor
The power of the gift: "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son"
Everything is in place to find spiritual renewal, step back, and take stock of your life, living a time of intimacy with God.
To this end, the retreat is structured around prayer (mental prayer, liturgical offices, Mass, Eucharistic adoration) and teachings, and unfolds in an atmosphere of recollection that fosters encounter with the Lord.
Just 500 meters away, the Marian sanctuary where Our Lady of the Poor appeared in 1933 offers retreatants a special opportunity for spiritual renewal.
Each person may request spiritual guidance from a priest and receive the sacrament of reconciliation.
The meals and participation in services are moments of fraternal sharing.
