COUPLES WEEKEND "Growing in freedom to grow in love"

Teachings, testimonies, sharing time within the couple, prayer, silence...

Topics covered:

• Dialogue in the couple
• The art of conversation
• The danger of silence
• Two words to avoid
• Freedom and commitment
• Humanizing our emotions
• Common misconceptions about chastity
• Conjugal prayer

The weekend concludes with a question-and-answer session.

Speakers: Father Patrick Sempere and a accompanying couple.

• The weekend is organized in such a way as to give each couple time to share based on the teachings and testimonies.
• Celebrations also come to illuminate and strengthen the life of the couple: Mass, prayer time, and an evening vigil.
• Saturday unfolds in an atmosphere of silence to encourage personal moments of interiority and sharing within the couple.
• The retreat begins on Friday evening with dinner at 7:30 PM, followed by the first teaching. The retreat ends on Sunday around 5:00 PM.

Please bring your own sheets, pillowcase, towels, and toiletries.

Feel free to bring something to write with and a Bible.

Getting to the abbey:

By car: a large parking lot within the abbey is available to retreatants.

By train: Jarnac Charente station (6 km away) - we can arrange to pick you up.

Note: as of today, there is no elevator to access the rooms.
