Does God the Merciful give meaning to life?

6-day spiritual retreat with the brothers and sisters of the Foyer Marie Jean

Does God the Merciful give meaning to life?

A week of time for yourself and for God

This spiritual retreat will seek to offer answers to the great human and spiritual questions, as well as to the challenges of the contemporary world, through living teachings grounded in the Word of God and in experience. The teachings will be given by the founder of Foyer Marie Jean.

During this time of human and spiritual renewal, you will also be carried by an atmosphere of prayer and silence and a carefully celebrated liturgy. The presence of a beautiful park and the proximity of the forest, the discreet yet attentive care of the brothers and sisters who will share this spiritual retreat with you — preached for them as well — and the recollection of each person will open you to the mystery of the God of Mercy and Life.

Programme

  • Two teachings per day.

  • Daily celebration of Mass and celebration of Vespers of the Resurrection on Saturday evening.

  • Opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and/or spiritual guidance.

  • Time for rest, walking in solitude, meditation, and silent prayer.

  • Meals shared together with beautiful music in the background. Monday evening and Sunday midday meals are times for sharing.
