From Saint Francis de Sales to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: the way of spiritual childhood.
Retreat centered on Saint Francis de Sales to begin Advent
The "little way" of Saint Francis de Sales
Francis de Sales (1567-1622), the "Doctor of Divine Love," was the most widely published author in the world until the 20th century. He was the first to describe so clearly the way of spiritual childhood, popularized three centuries later by Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus (1873-1897).
During this Advent season, we will explore magnificent texts on this "little way," drawn from the Bishop of Geneva and others from his spiritual heritage.
