Preparing for Easter at Bassac Abbey

Teachings, celebrations, silence, meditations, vigil, Stations of the Cross...
The days from Thursday to Saturday evening take place in an atmosphere of silence to encourage personal times of interior reflection.

Meeting possible with one of the speakers or a member of the Cœur de Jésus de Bassac community.
The retreat begins on Holy Wednesday with dinner at 7:30 PM, followed by the first teaching. The retreat ends on Easter Sunday around 2:00 PM.
Practical information
Full board.
Please bring your own sheets, pillowcase, towels, and toiletries.
Feel free to bring something to write with and a Bible.
Getting to the Abbey:
By car: a large parking lot within the Abbey is available to retreatants
By train: Jarnac Charente station (6km away), we can arrange to pick you up
NB: at this time, there is no elevator to access the rooms.
