It's time to stop: work and rest.
Am I still serving others when I no longer have time to rest?
What if God cared about my work?
"Manual work has not only a practical function, but also shapes the heart for service." (Leo XIV, Dilexi Te).
Can this be said of all work?
How do I manage when I have to spend 8 or 10 hours a day in front of my computer screen?
Am I still serving others when I no longer have time to rest?
Through the meditation of biblical texts and Tradition, a Benedictine sister from the Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre will help you better understand the meaning of work and rest in the Christian tradition. This weekend will also be an opportunity to discover how the Holy Scriptures can accompany us day by day in our questions: what if God cared about my work?
This weekend is shaped by the community's life of prayer, and takes place in a peaceful and fraternal atmosphere.
It is also possible to meet with a sister for a more personal conversation. And all of this in the beautiful setting of Montmartre, to gain a little perspective.
