Retreat "Lord, where do you dwell?" (Jn 1:35) Where are you calling me to meet you?

The talks draw on the Gospel, the Church Fathers, the Magisterium, and the lives of the saints. The schedule is adapted to a time of rest (first talk at 9:15 a.m., end of sessions at 9:15 p.m.)

NB: it is recommended to stay for the vigil from December 31 at 9:00 p.m. through January 1, 2026, to welcome the New Year in prayer and thanksgiving with the Foyer community.

Program for December 31:

• 10:30 p.m. Mass,

• adoration,

• Lauds at 8:00 a.m. and breakfast.

• Three teachings per day

• Daily Mass, Lauds, free adoration, rosary, prayer vigils with personal reflection opportunities.

• Opportunity to meet with a priest (confession or conversation) or a lay person trained in listening and spiritual guidance.

• Opportunities for walks in and around the estate through a landscape of gentle, wooded hills.

Practical details

• The guest house of the Foyer de charité N.D de Lacépède offers fully equipped single rooms, accessible to people with disabilities, as well as a few double rooms. Pillowcases and blankets are provided on site.

• Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set for €5), towels, a cloth napkin with its holder, your medications, outdoor shoes to enjoy the countryside, your Bible (lending available on site), and something to write with.

• The Foyer is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We can pick you up at Agen train station if you are traveling by train. By registering, you commit to respecting each person's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.

Suggested offering

• The cost is left to your discretion, in good conscience, according to your means: the Foyer's material existence depends on the contributions of retreatants. Each person gives, in conscience, according to their real possibilities.

• We estimate full board (per 24 hours), including programming, at around €55 per day per person.

• If this represents a genuine difficulty for you, please mention it when you register.
