Spiritual retreat for men
The brothers' community welcomes men wishing to spend a time of spiritual renewal. Good physical health is required (300 steps to climb several times a day to reach the abbey church).
A few days of rest at Mont-Saint-Michel
You will be welcomed into the Brothers' Fraternity during your stay.
You will be invited to settle in, prioritizing a time of disconnection from your daily life.
We will invite you to:
share the rhythm of the monastic community members (liturgy, meals, fraternal time).
immerse yourself in the meditation of the Scriptures.
refresh your mind by taking part in various simple manual tasks (cooking, gardening, maintenance, ...) and, weather permitting, to set aside dedicated time for walking or a sports activity.
You will also have time for yourself: to read, to get some fresh air, ...
Programme
Arrival is possible on Tuesday (from 2:30 PM and before 7:30 PM) for the end of the retreat on Sunday afternoon (2:30/3:00 PM).
The monastic offices and meals will structure the day.
The rest of the program will be tailored and adapted to your needs, according to the goal of your stay.
Depending on your needs, the following may be offered:
a spiritual journey to grow in your relationship with Christ and renew the grace of your baptism.
selected readings to deepen your faith.
an introduction to the prayerful reading of the Bible (lectio divina) and to monastic liturgy.
spiritual guidance.

Bring your Bible.
Plan to dress warmly and, if needed, bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty for work periods.
Sheets and bath towels are provided.
Meals are taken in the community refectory.

Overall free-will contribution to expenses of around €55 per day per person, full board.
