Weekend for couples: "Building your relationship on solid ground"

Teachings, testimonies, sharing time within the couple, prayer, silence...

Topics covered:

• The meaning of mutual gift
• Marriage as a sacrament
• Mass as a guide for married life
• Prayer in the couple

The weekend concludes with a question-and-answer session

• The weekend is organized in a way that gives each couple time to reflect and share based on the teachings and testimonies.
• Celebrations also serve to illuminate and strengthen the life of the couple: Mass, prayer time, and an evening vigil.
• Saturday unfolds in an atmosphere of silence to encourage personal moments of inner reflection and sharing within the couple.
• The retreat begins on Friday evening with dinner at 7:30 p.m., followed by the first teaching. The retreat ends on Sunday around 5:00 p.m.

Please bring your own sheets, pillowcase, towels, and toiletries.

Feel free to bring something to write with and a Bible.

Getting to the abbey:

By car: a large parking lot within the abbey is available to retreatants

By train: Jarnac Charente station (6 km away) — we can arrange to pick you up
