This retreat is for people who want to nurture their relationship by taking this time of withdrawal together, for walking and prayer, sharing and renewal.
It is led by a couple from the Community, Véronique and François Vignon, Father Christophe Lamm, and a team.

Session program
Each day of the retreat will include a teaching, an easy hike from Thumenau, prayer time, the Eucharist (sometimes in a small chapel during the hike), and sharing times.
From Wednesday, July 8 (7:00 PM) to Sunday, July 12, 2026 (4:00 PM). Reception from 6:30 PM
- A meal is served upon arrival
- Bed linens can be rented on-site (5€)
- We will hike 3 to 4 hours per day with gentle elevation changes. Packed lunch will be provided. Remember to bring: hiking shoes and poles, backpack, warm clothing, raincoat or rain cape, sunglasses and sunscreen, sun hat, also bring a water bottle (minimum 1 liter), possibly a thermos, one container per person for packed lunch, and mosquito repellent.
- Estimated total cost of the session: 400 €/couple (meals, accommodation, program) with payment at the end of the session.
- Bring your Bible and something to write with.
- Also bring your table napkin and napkin ring.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know.
Registration is final only after receipt of a 50 € deposit (which you can pay by sending a check payable to Centre d'accueil de la Thumenau or online via the Puits de Jacob website by clicking here). However, please notify us of any cancellation as soon as you have received our registration confirmation.
