What is mental prayer?

  • Learning from the great saints: Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, Saint Ignatius, Saint Francis de Sales…
  • Retreat led by Father Caffarel, founder of the prayer school of Troussures and Teams of Our Lady.

What is mental prayer?

  • It is encountering Jesus in the depths of oneself in a true heart-to-heart relationship
  • It is learning to read his Word and advance on a path of contemplation
  • It is discovering inner peace and remaining in it
  • It is accepting to be transformed in depth
  • It is welcoming the surprises that he has in store for us!

How? A 2-day session

  • To discover that Jesus "wants my happiness" and is waiting for me
  • To learn how to enter into relationship with Jesus, to sustain it and remain faithful to it day after day
  • To learn from Father Caffarel, who offers simple, practical, concrete methods
  • With short teachings and practical exercises
  • With silence to give him our full attention and listening

Meals and accommodation

  • Meals are provided.

  • The accommodation is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Suggested offering at the end of the retreat

50€ is required to confirm registration.

The cost per day per retreatant is estimated at 65€, but financial considerations should not be an obstacle to experiencing a retreat. Everyone gives according to their actual means.
