The Sens Guest House, site of a Dominican motherhouse
The Sens Guest House is located in the magnificent site of the motherhouse of the Dominican Sisters of the Eucharist, a congregation founded in 1920, on Christmas night, by Father Dominique-Augustin Brisset, a Dominican (1875-1961).
The church and the Notre-Dame de Sens Guest House are the result of an architecture long contemplated by the founder in the trenches of the Great War, then implemented by architect Henri Vidal who drew up the plans. On August 23, 1930, Bishop Chesnelong blessed the first stone. His successor Bishop Feltin consecrated the altars in 1933.
In September 2006, the Dominican Sisters left their Motherhouse in Sens, entrusting it to the Sisters and Brothers of the Famille Missionnaire de Notre-Dame.

The great Famille Missionnaire de Notre-Dame, or Domini family!
The Famille Missionnaire de Notre-Dame is a religious family in service to the Church. It was founded in 1946 by Father Lucien Marie Dorne and Mother Marie Augusta in Saint-Pierre-de-Colombier in Ardèche, and is composed of brothers and sisters.
Roped to Our Lady of the Snows with the Immaculate Heart, their first rope leader, the Domini profess the 3 vows of poverty, chastity and obedience following the great tradition of religious life. Responding to the call of the Heart of Jesus, they have left everything to follow Him and imitate Him.
Their mission: to be apostles of Love! To educate hearts in the likeness of the hearts of Jesus and Mary, to help in the spiritual ascent toward holiness:
- Through formation to transmit the faith of the Church and the teachings of the pope
- Through liturgy, times of prayer and participation in divine offices or pilgrimages
- For each age, support to advance in the spirituality of the rope: helping to climb the mountain of holiness through concrete means
- For families, youth, adolescents, children, for everyone!
