A brief history of Maison Regnum Christi
For nearly 30 years, Maison Regnum Christi, located in the Château de Mery in Île-de-France, was a space dedicated to young people. This house played an essential role in spiritual formation through numerous camps and activities.
In 2022, this house took a new direction by expanding its scope of action.
It now strives to welcome people more broadly, including couples, adults, and children, with the goal of forming committed individuals and enabling them to share their faith and contribute positively to society.
The objective is to enable everyone to find a path to becoming engaged citizens, regardless of their age, in order to share their energy with others and contribute to the common good.
Thus, this place, with its strong history in youth formation, is resolutely committed to a new phase of its mission, seeking to reach an even wider audience and to inspire ongoing commitment to faith and service in the world.
The Regnum Christi spiritual family, now in charge of the center
Regnum Christi is a spiritual family composed of laypeople, consecrated women and men, as well as priests who form those who desire it in a rich spiritual life and in sharing!
To do this, they rely on five fundamental pillars:
- Community life.
- Missionary formation.
- Individual spiritual growth.
- Spiritual support.
- Apostolic commitment.
To accomplish this mission, Regnum Christi has created living spaces aimed at fostering sharing around spiritual life, formation, and missionary commitment. They develop formation programs, launch and accompany individuals, while carrying out missions of general interest.
In France, Regnum Christi is involved in various parishes, including Notre-Dame de Boulogne and Sacré-Cœur in Bordeaux.

But at Maison Regnum Christi, we invite you to go a bit further. Beyond welcoming people for individual retreats, there is an annual program of about ten special events that will be offered each year.
Individual guidance is offered for each retreatant. Masses, prayers (morning and afternoon), and other times of celebration take place on-site each day.

The center offers you accommodation perfectly adapted to all its activities and groups with:
- Accommodation spaces in dormitories and a few individual rooms
- Several training and conference rooms
- A chapel and an oratory
- A play area and team sports fields in a wooded park of 2 hectares.
