Maison d'Accueil de l'Ile Blanche
Located just 30 meters from the sea, with direct access to the famous GR34 trail, the Maison d'Accueil de l'Ile Blanche welcomes you year-round in a 15-hectare estate nestled between sea and nature.
Managed by a community of Sisters and a team of lay people, the House offers a welcoming atmosphere in a spirit of simplicity, respect and attentive listening.
Retreats organized by the community
A rich spiritual and human history
The Ile Blanche site, once a place of Druidic worship as evidenced by megalithic tombs on the grounds, is now home to a welcoming center full of meaning and history.
The main building, a former shipowner's manor built in 1661, was profoundly transformed in the 19th century by an English couple, the Nortons.
In 1926, the Congregation of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit acquired it to establish a juvenate for training young women for religious life.
Since 1967, the place has been open to the general public as a guest house, while maintaining its spiritual DNA.

A living community at the service of all
Today, five Sisters of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit live on site and actively participate in the life of the House: welcoming, spiritual guidance, listening.
Three religious offices punctuate the day in the estate's two chapels:
- Lauds at 8:40 AM
- Eucharist at 11:30 AM on weekdays / 10:00 AM on Sundays
- Vespers at 6:40 PM
A chaplain is also present to accompany those who wish.
The team of lay people ensures the management of accommodation, meals and daily logistics with professionalism and human warmth.
Two cooks prepare balanced meals, served at set times in a friendly atmosphere.
- Breakfast: 8:15-9:00 AM
- Lunch: 12:15 PM
- Dinner: 7:00 PM
