Prayer life with the Marist Fathers community

At Notre-Dame de la Neylière lives a community of Marist Fathers, members of the Society of Mary, a congregation founded in 1836 by Father Jean-Claude Colin in France. Faithful to their Marian vocation, the Marists seek to "think, feel, and act like Mary," in a spirit of simplicity, humility, discretion, and service. Their mission revolves around education, missionary work, spiritual guidance, and leading places of renewal like la Neylière.

The community carries the spiritual life of the house today, ensuring daily prayer times, liturgical celebrations, the spiritual welcome of visitors, as well as retreat guidance. The divine offices rhythm the day, and the chapel remains open to all who wish to join in community prayer. Mass is celebrated there daily.

Through their discreet and fraternal presence, the Marist Fathers offer each person the possibility of having a profound spiritual experience, connected to the Marian and missionary tradition of the Society of Mary.
