Burnout: how to bounce back?

How to move forward after burnout?

For several months you have been going through burnout: continuous stress, work overload has led you to professional exhaustion, you can no longer invest yourself in work, loss of self-esteem makes you see everything negatively, you experience relationships with colleagues with great tension, and this also has repercussions on your family life.

You may even be on sick leave.

This difficult time continues…

This session can help you shed light on your situation by reflecting on your life.

    • How did I get here, what brought me to where I am?
    • What are the mechanisms that are holding me back?
    • But also what inner strengths can I rely on: becoming aware of them again.
    • How do I stand in my relationship with myself, with others, and perhaps with God?
    • How do I find renewal?
    • How do I envision tomorrow?

    • The sessions of the "Professional Life" sector at Penboc'h use the Ignatian pedagogy of reflection, discernment, listening to others, to oneself, and to the Word of God.

    • This is not about receiving teachings, but about learning to use our personal resources more fully in order to choose in freedom.

    • Each session takes place in a small group of about 8 people.

    • The atmosphere of silence helps to respect each person's journey, to settle down, to rest.

    • The session alternates between times of personal reflection, times of sharing in groups, and free time to walk in nature.

    • You benefit from daily personal guidance.

    • A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection illuminates the path at each stage.

    • The life of the Center is structured around times of communal prayer, Lauds and Eucharist.

Bring a notebook and something to write with, you can also bring your Bible.

Remember to bring walking shoes, equipment to protect from the sun but also… from the rain!

And to fully enjoy the gulf, come with your bathing suit!
