In our hectic world, it is often difficult to find unity between our body, our emotions, and our spirit.

Prayer itself can sometimes become a mental exercise, disconnected from our deeper being.

The Vittoz method offers a simple and natural approach to restore this essential harmony, inviting us to fully live in the present moment, neither in regrets of the past nor in anxieties about the future.

This retreat weekend is a unique opportunity to discover and experience this method concretely, led by Patricia Bourquerod, a certified Vittoz method psychotherapist.

She will guide you to:

    • restore the body-mind-emotions unity: learn to better perceive bodily sensations, welcome emotions, and harmonize thought, for total presence to oneself and to God,
    • develop receptivity: through simple sensory exercises, sharpen your awareness of the environment and your own interiority, thus opening new dimensions to your prayer
    • master conscious breathing: use breathing as an anchor to calm mental agitation and connect to the present moment, thus fostering deeper meditation
    • find adapted prayer postures: discover how the body can support and enrich the meditation of the Word of God, by fully integrating the physical and spiritual dimensions of prayer
    • live in the here and now: practice being fully present in each moment, in prayer as in daily activities, for a richer and more conscious life, according to the wisdom of Doctor Vittoz.

Patricia Bourquerod, with kindness and expertise, will guide you through practical workshops, discussion times, and meditation.

This retreat is an invitation to slow down, to reclaim your body and senses, for more embodied prayer and a more unified life.
